Shoal Bay Resort & Spa is the rebirth of the historic Country Club Hotel, a legendary Australian icon on the East Coast and a popular holiday memory of visitors to Port Stephens. The Heritage Suite Apartments

For the astute traveler the 5 star Heritage suite apartments offer all the luxuries of a 5 star accommodation with room service, fully stocked mini bar, leather furnishings, plasma screens and dvd player. Bathrooms are luxurious and well designed, featuring corner spas and walk in showers. The experienced traveller or just some wishing to indulge in pure luxury for a spacial occassion will enjoy beach front views in Heritage suite apartments.

Breakwater Tower

With its own private pool and spa, recreation room and a choice of two or three bedrooms, Breakwater apartments are the ultimate address in Post Stephens. Encompassing views high across Shoal Bay towards Myall Lakes National Park, apartments feature living area, separate dining area and full kitchen. Main bedrooms have en-suites, plus full second bathroom. Oversized balconies ensure guests take full advantage of these spacious apartments.

The Barrington Apartments

Barrington Tower is modern and fresh in style. The one, two and three bedroom, self-contained apartments feature open lounge, kitchen and dining area, the majority with spa bathrooms and balconies to capture views out to the ocean or across to the National Park. Seaspray Villas

The perfect balance of space and outdoor entertaining, SeaSpray Villas are modern and spacious. Whitesands Apartments

Whitesands Tower is a stones throw from the Shoal Bay Beach and encompasses a variety of facilities including the Whitesands Convention Centre, Sandyfoot Cafe & Sandyfoot Bar. Whitesands accommodation offers one and two bedroom self contained apartments, popular with guests conveniently located to all Resort facilities, Shoal Bay Beach at your door step and the Shoal Bay Village.

Poolview Rooms

Overlooking the lagoon style Resort pool with its own beach and wading area, these 4.5 star studio hotel rooms are the perfect solution for a short getaway, traveling on business or those looking for a great value. Zenith Rooms

The Country Club Hotel:

The recent restoration and refurbishment of the Country Club Hotel has further enhanced the history of this iconic property through a series of story boards for locals and tourists alike. The Country Club Hotel is one of the legendary watering holes on the East Coast. Established over 50 years ago the first beer was poured on New Year's Eve 1954/55. How to get there:

Air

Williamtown Airport is 30 minutes south of Port Stephens with direct flights daily from Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Gold Coast and Canberra. Flights from other cities also available. Transfers to the Resort can be arranged with your reservation or car rental is available at the airport.

Road

Port Stephens is a 2 1/2 hour drive north of Sydney via the F3 freeway. Join the Pacific Highway over Hexham Bridge and past Raymond Terrace, then take the Richardson Road exit for Raymond Terrace/Nelson Bay. This will take you to Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay.

Other

Uninterrupted train journeys are available from Sydney Central Station to Newcastle, with coach connections direct to Post Stephens. Port Stephens Coaches depart from Sydney Central Station daily. Return trips depart from Shoal Bay daily. Transfers to the Resort can be arranged with your reservation if required.
